  1. Is there a downloadable version of Sketchup that contains enough features to be aber to draft furniture plans? The free version of the current revision seems to be good for drawing a box or triangle. Are older software revisions available that have full functionality. I canjot afford the cost of the new version.
  2. I would say 2016. I really liked SketchUp 8. It had a great balance between simplicity and power. Starting from around SketchUp 2013, the 3D engine was updated and it made it much faster to work with complex and large models.
