To support a new OS or a major update to an existing OS, our Engineering and QA teams need access to a build and run through a full suite of tests to ensure there are no issues. Cylance tests using beta builds of the OS, but changes between the beta and the final release of the OS can introduce new issues that must be addressed and fully tested.

Connect
  • Cylance requires 30 days after the public release to verify that the Agent operates as expected. If conflicts or bugs are discovered while testing the public release, Cylance will announce a new timeline for support of the new OS or major update.
  • In situations where substantial OS or feature changes occur, full functionality may take longer than 30 days. In these circumstances, Cylance provides either viable workarounds or conclusive notifications where service may be limited.
