Summary
OneDrive is a folder sync mechanism. It sets up a local folder on your computer for synchronization. Usually that folder is c: users username OneDrive. Folders and files inside this folder will sync to the cloud. Your documents, music, pictures, etc profile folders should be moved inside the OneDrive folder for synchronization. The OneDrive mobile app currently has a dedicated “Photos” Tab for checking your cloud photo library, but it’s no replacement for a dedicated Photos app: You can’t easily browse picture. Check Use Office applications to sync Office files that I open under the Office tab option. Check if OneDrive sync is stuck or working again in Windows 10 now. Unlink OneDrive Account.
It’s important that administrators can diagnose and resolve issues quickly in SharePoint Online and OneDrive. To support this effort, the SharePoint support team has released new features in the Microsoft 365 admin center.
Syncing a OneDrive for work or school library is a function of Windows and the OneDrive for work or school app, and is specific to your computer. You can only pause and stop syncing from your local computer, not from the online app. I've downloaded the new OneDrive for iOS app and am trying to sync an entire Sharepoint document library for offline access. For some reason I can only sync a subfolder - I can't see an option to sync the entire library.
Note
This feature is not available for Microsoft 365 Government, Microsoft 365 operated by 21Vianet, or Microsoft 365 Germany.
